Today I have a tale of why sometimes you just have to wait and keep looking with lost media searches. Our story begins with one "Commander Santa", a frequent user on a popular video game forum, who came forward with an experience he had while home sick as a kid. He had been watching the TV show "Pinwheel" and was notably scared of one of its shorts, where a wizard emerges from a clock and kidnaps a child. No proof of the short could be found online, but Santa was determined to find his short. Nicknamed “Clockman” for the scene that had stuck with the user, the lost media community and the Lost Media Wiki in particular, was on the case.
Today in 2017, After a half decade of hundreds of people looking for it, it was found. The short was called "O parádivé Sally'' (changed to “Little Sally” in the English dub) and was Czech in origin. The Lost Media Wiki user “NitrateNerd” had found the name and description on the short in an online library, and the short had been uploaded by the Czech animation studio that owned it earlier that same year. At last, Santa had finally had his case closed and the short that haunted him his whole life in his lap, so all that effort paid off.
