Today I'm going to tell you about one time someone with too much pride made a complete fool of himself online. Something Awful a website best known for being an online tomfoolery factory to describe it in the silliest manner possible. And among the memes and mistakes documented on the site, one of the sites most memorable is one man's attempt to document his attempts to renovate his house. The first of these posts were posted today.
Now dubbed the Groverhaus, the renovation was one being poorly performed by an unpopular forum moderator on a website where the users have the well earned nickname of goons. The guy ruined his house and everyone made fun of him. I don't know what else to tell you. Oh wait, yes I do. One, you need to look up pictures on this one, because the pictures are worth a thousand words. Two, out of the whole ordeal, we have a new oxymoron: load bearing drywall!
That is, QUITE the house. I’ve seen worse, but it is foolish nonetheless.
