Well, tonight is the big game. I don't know who's playing yet and I probably won't care too hard unless it's Atlanta, just because I live in Georgia, but I will admit I have no idea how well they are doing this year. Last time we even made it to the season finale, Boston was on a winning streak that wasn't broken that night. Yeah I'll admit my folks always have it on, but I only pay attention to half time if there is a decent half time artist or the ads where corporations hypothetically put a lot of money and effort into selling people things once a year.
I think I wanted to change myself to talk about this topic because while it's not my thing, for a lot of people it can be a highlight of the year. If you really care about a sports team with all your heart seeing them go all the way or watching them fumble at that last step is extremely emotional. Just because it's not my thing, that doesn't give me a free pass to scoff at what it means to others. So if you know any sports fans, wish them a merry football and a happy next season.
The Bowling Owl is only ever good if there's a team that traditionally sucks so bad playing it. Like, that year the Rams were playing the Saints, bc the Rams usually suck it was fun to watch. Tho I mostly like the ads lma o
You know you can just say Superbowl, I'm pretty sure that trademark bs only applies to advertisers
