Today is the anniversary of the first Defunctland video. Defunctland is a web series created by Kevin Perjurer that is a complicated and multifaceted project mostly revolving around documenting theme park rides that you can't go to anymore. That being said, topics can go everywhere from full closed parks, individual rides, old kids shows, the life of Jim Henson, the sins of Walt Disney, lines, a virtual band, and even that Nickelodeon themed hotel I remember seeing on TV bumpers when I was watching Avatar and Danny Phantom as a kid.
That being said, Defunctland hasn't completely strayed from the channel's original agenda. The original goal of the series was to have a virtual Defunctland theme park where lost rides were virtually preserved for future historical context. So far they do have one full ride up, and it is Disney's "20,000 leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage '', and I have tried it out and it's a must try experience if you have one of those phone box VR goggles.
I think I watched the "Lines" video more times than anything else. You know you're a good writer when you can make an hour long discussion about a theme park line to be interesting.
