June 19th - Sonic Adventure 2

Today is the launch anniversary of Sonic Adventure 2, and by extension Shadow the Hedgehog's birthday. It wasn't the original release, but Sonic Adventure 2: Battle was the first GameCube game I ever played. Me and Mouse were over at a friend's house and they had it and we spent hours in the chao garden. The chao garden is also the only part of the game I remember. This is a weird place to put it, but I'm disappointed Sega hasn't ever brought the chao garden back. Like, it would be easy to bring back as a spinoff, or even like a mobile app, but they never have. I'd play that game. I guess we can only hope for a similar indie game. I feel like right now the closest indie game to chao garden is Duck Life and even then it's far from 1:1.
