June 2nd - Scott Wozniak's Birthday (Scott the Woz)

Today is the birthday of one of my favorite YouTubers, Scott Wozniak (no relation to Apple's Steve Wozniak). Scott the Woz is probably the biggest YouTube video game reviewer to pop up after 2015. Aside from the classic "guy plays a video game and tells you if they like it or not", his videos largely cover the culture and industry around video games. He goes into the details others wouldn't, like how games are packaged and sold. All these video game videos feel smart and fresh for what they are on their own, but it's embellished by a good yet odd sense of humor that prevails through all of Scott’s videos. These video game review/discussion videos contain an "ongoing narrative" of Scott and his Ohio friends dealing with life and bad video games. The conflicts and characters in these skits are surreal, with characters such as the vegetarian Gex fan Jeb Jab, Wendy's Employee and his identical brother Target Employee, Scott's therapist Dr. Jerry Attricks, and school dance chaperone Rex Mohs.
