June 8th - World's Oceans Day

Today is World's Oceans Day. Water makes up 71% of the world's surface, and 97% of that water is in the oceans. The ocean is also full of Weird stuff. They say we know more about the surface of the moon than the bottom of the ocean, and I think that makes me scared of the ocean a little. Not to mention the ocean pressure. Anyway, the ocean is full of bizarre creatures. Like, off the top of my head we have giant squids, giant oarfish, and every kind of jellyfish that all look like they shouldn't be alive. And that's what we know about! There could be bizarre creatures living on this planet right now that no human alive now will ever see just because it's so deep down, and they are blissfully unaware we are looking for new creatures.
