May 14th -David Byrne's Birthday (Talking Heads)

Today is David Byrne's birthday. Byrne is probably best known as the frontman of the band The Talking Heads. The Talking Heads might be one of my favorite bands, even if I don't have the best foothold on their larger discography. His solo stuff is also really solid. To be honest one of my friends from highschool, ironically also named David, knows a lot more about the Talking Heads than me, and about half the songs I know by them are from his playlists when we'd be working together for theater crew after school. So I gotta thank David Byrne for contributing to David H.'s "best jams'' playlist. I still gladly have "And She Was" stuck in my head.
