Hello everyone. I feel like I owe anyone who would be reading this a bit of an explanation for what happened on this website over the last week. I have a bit of a pre-existing "monster" problem. I've only mentioned it on the site in hidden pages, but it's something all my Mods were aware of. The long and short of it is when I was almost 5 something somehow living in a VHS tape bit me, and it's waiting for me to rewatch its tape so it can come out of the tv again and finish me off. but I'm not going to do that for obvious self preservation reasons. Then the VHS thing got aggravated at me over not handing myself over as monster munch so it decided to take out its frustration on my website.
Thankfully for me my all my site mods help me get the situation under control and Cal in particular has managed to place some sort of sealing spell on the tape, so it's basically frozen in time for the time being. The thing is, like my previous attempts to deter it, this is not a permanent solution. It should be able to hold it for at least a year, maybe a couple years, but at this time we don't have a plan for after the sealing spell wears off.
And with this I must make an appeal to anyone who may be reading this. Cal says that the best thing we can do at this point is try to find other people on "our side of the veil" if you catch my drift. If you or anyone you know has had or are currently experiencing any paranormal phenomenon, even if it might not be obviously related, let us know. Cal says that not everything will be relevant but you never know until you ask.
As for the site, Ill be working on it for a bit. Tooby's pages are still on the site, and I know they need to be preserved for future research. I'll set up a proper archive of everything once I get the normal site back together. The article queue is still ready for the month so those will happen as regular.
but for now, Ive been told I need to rest. I did had a night of clear sleep at the finch house and now we have donuts and left over chicken tenders for breakfast, but I still lost a lot of blood yesterday. Joey says hes surprised I wrote this much .
try getting some food with a lot of iron in it, or salty stuff. i dont think itll help the haunting part unless tooby works on ghost or fairy rules but it'll at least help with the blood loss part sort of. its really nice to hear that you're okay. or at least not being hunted right now. um, as for the phenomenon, i dont...really know anyone who's been haunted by killer tv trains? i mean besides you. ill keep an eye out though.
Even if this peace isn't permanent, I'm glad its at rest for the time being. Let me tell you, it was a ride from start to finish and...if I can be completely honest, as scary as it was, I also never felt more alive. As for finding folks with paranormal experience, I'll be on the lookout for that.
You sound a lot better today! After everything that happened, I agree that now is a good time to be more open about Tooby and… “things” similar to Tooby. There’s strength in numbers and knowledge. I’m sorry you haven’t found a permanent solution, it’s just good you’re still in one piece for the time being.
