November 12th

Today is National French Dip Day. Now a french dip is a sandwich with a fun feature. This dish, traditionally, is a beef sandwich on a baguette bun served with the broth from the beef cooking process. Sometimes if whoever is making it doesn't have enough beef broth or they are trying to be extra,it's paired with a dedicated gravy instead. Despite the name, this sandwich comes from Los Angeles California. The beef broth is often referred to as "au jus", but "au jus" is just French for "with juice". So it's a juice sandwich.

I usually try to have a second paragraph for these but I don't really have anything else for this one. Instead of meta rambling I'm just going to use this second paragraph as a quick diary. I'm on my phone during a tmbg Livestream, and they'll already be here when this is published, but I just learned Calexta as I know know them now is going to be moving up from Florida to become their cousin Joey's housemate, and not only will we be able to meet in person, we'll be close enough to see each other regularly. I hope more than anything we get along in person as well as we do online.

[EDITOR’S NOTE: I love a juice sandwich, man.]
